Too Long, Don’t Read: Event Calendar – Scroll down to see our party videos
What’s a language group without some parties? A really lame language group, that’s what. Snuggly compatible with our whole learn-language-by-socializing-philosophy, we throw really great parties. Especially while living in a foreign country, language learning doesn’t begin and end in the classroom. Nor does it begin and end in the language exchange. Language learning is a continual process that pervades all parts of life including work, travel and play. What better way to tackle your inhibitions and to slick up your fluency than with a little bit of liquid courage?

New Years Wine Party 2016
This was a great party that brought well over 100 people from different places all over the world. With the entry fee, our guests enjoyed unlimited wine, unlimited appetizers, pizza, the good ol’ company of one another. We also had prize draws, a limbo competition and then we topped it all off by going to Octagon to dance into the New Year. Did I mention the club entry was included in the original entry fee of 25$? Halloween Party 2016
I don’t think there is any better theme for a party than a Halloween theme. Halloween is the master of all parties. It is the crème de la crème, the cherry on top, the 삼장 on 삼겹살. And so was our Halloween party. At our Gangnam BTurn location, we brought out 200 people for a legendary night. With our costume competition, everyone dressed up real nice and, as promised, we awarded third place with iPhone headphones, second place with a camera drone, and first place with a plane ticket to Jejudo. Avoid the hectic 이태원 rush next Halloween and join us for a spookily good time… Connect with us on Facebook or sign up here for our newsletter to know about the next party.
Christmas Party 2015
We were in the spirit of gifting that night. Santa Clause and his wife circled the pub giving out booze. Yes, it was a night to remember. Korea doesn’t celebrate Christmas the same way other countries do. It’s more of a couples party here. So, for all you expats or travellers who may get a bit homesick, this community is a good substitute for the holiday blues. Like our Halloween party we had a grand prize give away. Only this time we raffled of a plane ticket to Japan. Connect with us on Facebook or sign up here for our newsletter to know about the next party.
